Primary purpose of job
Ensure all risk control policies and procedures are in place and adhered to, assist in building the risk control team, manage
the risk controls and reporting on a daily basis, and ensure CTRM systems is regularly updated that it can
accommodate new trades/trading instruments
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 8-10 years work experience in risk control/systems management, in an energy commodity environment,
- Proven leadership and managerial skills with detailed-oriented thinking and a capacity to challenge senior management,
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to understand and challenge fast risk-based decisions, sometimes based on limited amount of information.
- Excellent computer literacy skills, including MS excel, CTRM/SAP knowledge, SQL/Database is a plus.
- Detailed knowledge of principles, policies, procedures, and processes pertaining to trading risk management.
Bachelor degree in Economics, Law, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent from an internationally
recognized university. Postgraduate Qualification (MSc. or MBA or professional degree in finance/accounting/risk
(ACCA, CPA, CA, CRM)) preferred.
