Binance is the global blockchain company behind the world's largest digital asset exchange by trading volume and users, serving a greater mission to accelerate cryptocurrency adoption and increase the freedom of money.Are you looking to be a part of the most influential company in the blockchain industry and contribute to the crypto-currency revolution that is changing the worldRequirementsResponsible for the effective implementation of overall risk strategy for the businessEstablish and implement an risk and governance framework to ensure a robust, controlled environment and create an KRI Matrix alongside different stakeholdersConduct regular audits and self-risk assessments for the businessIdentifying and implementing appropriate controls and risk mitigants across the businessAct as second line of defence to monitor, identify, measure and report all risk related mattersAdvise and guide the business on overall risk management with pertinent focus on operational riskProvide incident management oversight and support the business owners in responding to investigations, resolve incident reports and escalationsEnsure that business models and supporting systems continually mitigate risk to maintain the protection and integrity of data and resourcesPromote a risk-aware culture across the company by organizing educational and training workshopsResponsibilitiesAt least a Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in Banking/Insurance/Financial Services or a similar capacityRecognised Person in the DFSA, FRSA, CBB or other regulated jurisdictionMust be based in the United Arab EmiratesMust have experience working for an exchange, broker dealer or bankStrong practical knowledge of risk frameworks and operational risk reporting experience, FRM is a plusInterest in Cryptocurrencies, Blockchain and trading or finance/banking/payments industryGood stakeholder management and collaboration skillsEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to troubleshoot and discover answers quickly and effectivelyCapable of working under pressure and managing multiple mandatesWorking at Binance.
