Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate

Head Pastry Chef

to lead our pastry kitchen. The ideal candidate will be creative, detail-oriented, and skilled in both traditional and modern pastry techniques. This role requires strong leadership, kitchen management, and the ability to maintain high-quality standards consistently.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the pastry team, ensuring smooth daily operations in the kitchen. Plan, develop, and execute innovative pastry menus, including cakes, desserts, and specialty items. Oversee production, presentation, and quality control of all pastry products. Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to maintain profitability. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards. Train, mentor, and motivate the pastry team to uphold company standards and promote professional growth. Collaborate with management to develop seasonal promotions, new product launches, and marketing initiatives. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience as a Head Pastry Chef, Executive Pastry Chef, or Senior Pastry Chef. Exceptional skills in cakes, pastries, desserts, chocolate work, and sugar artistry. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations. Creative, innovative, and attentive to detail. Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.
