We are seeking an experienced and creative Pastry Head Chef to lead our pastry department and oversee the production of high-quality desserts, baked goods, and specialty pastries. The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills with leadership, organization, and a passion for innovation. This role is responsible for menu development, team management, quality control, and maintaining food safety standards while ensuring consistency and excellence in every product.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the pastry team, including training, scheduling, and supervision
Develop and execute dessert menus, seasonal items, and special event offerings
Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and taste of all pastry items
Oversee inventory, ordering, cost control, and waste reduction
Maintain strict compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
Collaborate with executive chefs and management on menu planning and concepts.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Head Pastry Chef
Strong knowledge of classic and modern pastry techniques
Leadership experience in a professional kitchen environment
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
