Job Title: Head of Unit - Economic Editing
Job Location: Abu Dhabu
Department: Economics Department
Job Purpose
Contribute to achieving the department's objectives by carrying out all daily operational tasks of the unit, organizing activities, submitting recommendations for improvement, reviewing and evaluating employee performance, and ensuring alignment with professional best practices and emerging work requirements. This includes compliance with internal policies, procedures, and systems, as well as relevant local and federal laws, regulations, and guidelines in the United Arab Emirates.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
First: Core Functional Responsibilities

• Manage the unit's resources (human, financial, and technological) efficiently and effectively to achieve department objectives.
• Develop annual operational and media plans for the unit in alignment with its requirements and work on their implementation.
• Participate in preparing participation plans and follow up on their execution.
• Identify training and development needs for the unit's resources in accordance with the nature of its work.
• Develop improvement plans, recommendations, and initiatives to enhance performance.
• Implement approved plans and ensure alignment with the unit's internal policies and standards.
• Develop sustainability plans for the unit's resources and ensure their continuous implementation.
• Conduct continuous evaluation and provide improvement recommendations to enhance overall effectiveness.
• Ensure adherence to approved procedures, systems, and internal regulations relevant to the unit's scope of work.
