In order to advance our business in the thriving markets in the Middle East we are looking to hire a Head of Strategy/Executive office -Middle East who brings the required energy domain knowledge, creativity, business orientation, experience and dedication for driving change to the table. You will work together directly with the senior leadership team of Siemens Energy Middle East out of our office in Abu Dhabi.

Your responsibilities:

• Develop, define and support execution of regional market strategy.
• Identify, grow together with Go to market team existing/new partners for the business
• Work with the responsible Head of Go to market to develop strategies that align with both our BA strategic direction and need of our customers.
• Drive implementation of strategic focus topics across sub-regions
• Drive development of customer / country specific roadmaps with mid- and long-term horizon to increase opportunity generation.
• Align topics with other hubs of strategic, operational relevance.
• Translate our transformation initiatives into comprehensive and engaging presentations for senior management.

Executive Office tasks:

• Board Member/Key Function Member visits
• Shareholder Mgmt., preparation support reviews
• Exec customer relationship mgmt. (e.g. Briefing input)
• Organizational development (Growth initiatives, innovation center, \xe2\x80\xa6)
• Special projects
• Preparation of Supervisory board and EBM board updates
• Office coordination

What do you Bring?

• PhD/master\'s degree in business administration, law or engineering and ideally 5 years of professional experience in a strategy consulting firm
• Strong understanding of the energy market and familiar with energy solutions, electrification, automation, and digitalization portfolio
• Experience in project management is an advantage.
• Willingness to continuously improve the organization, confident handling of ad-hoc requests and provide solution-oriented collaboration with other people.
• Conceptual thinker and strategic mindset; ability to define tangible and implementable concepts.
• Demonstrate excellent commercial understanding, possess excellent communications, and planning skills, and have a confident and flexible approach to their work.
• Availability to travel as needed.
