This full-time Dubai-based role is an exciting opportunity for a Sourcing Manager with experience in beauty, haircare, skincare, or consumer goods packaging to join us at a pivotal moment. You'll lead our sourcing and production efforts across all Coco Curls product lines, with a key focus on setting up and optimizing our supply base in the UAE. From finding the right partners to ensuring quality and sustainability, you'll play a foundational role in shaping our presence in the region. You'll work closely with the product development team but thrive as a self-starter, comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Day to day, you will: Be accountable for quality, timeliness, and cost of production from development through to delivery Continuously assess and improve our supplier base, identifying new opportunities in the UAE and beyond Develop and future-proof our supplier network to enable international scale Manage the critical path across product lines, from production planning to QC and warehouse arrival Lead sample reviews, testing, and bulk approvals to ensure everything meets Coco Curls' quality and brand standards Support the launch of new product lines (body, skincare, accessories) by identifying relevant suppliers and overseeing production Optimize for cost efficiency without compromising quality or ethics, including strategies like open costing and material efficiency Ensure our sourcing approach meets ESG standards, with updated certifications, audits, and sustainable material usage Collaborate with our operations team on the production of packaging, tags, and inserts consistent with our brand values Own the onboarding and management of new suppliers in line with our brand standards Review and approve materials for suitability, conducting trials and lab testing as needed Build and maintain strong relationships across the supplier base, including factory visits Lead and mentor our production and product development team in the region Requirements: 7+ years of sourcing and production experience, preferably in beauty, haircare, skincare, or relevant FMCG sectors Proven track record of managing and scaling a high-performing, cost-efficient supplier base Experience managing teams and leading cross-functional collaboration Deep understanding of raw materials, sustainable packaging, and supplier negotiations Familiarity with sustainable and ethical sourcing standards Ability to work in a startup environment: hands-on, flexible, solution-oriented Based in or willing to relocate to Dubai, and able to travel for supplier visits as needed What we offer: Competitive compensation package A mission-driven culture with real impact on consumers and the beauty industry An entrepreneurial environment with the freedom to shape your role Product allowance and exclusive employee discounts A dynamic, collaborative team and the opportunity to be part of our Dubai founding team
