Job Description

Job Purpose Leading J&J Shopper Marketing Agenda for AMET Region. Key Responsible for the \xe2\x80\x98excellence in execution\xe2\x80\x99 strategic pillar. Head of Shopper leads a shopper marketing team in developing channel strategies, shopper insights and actions, category management partnership, promotion design and execution through distributor partners to differentiate J&J as \xe2\x80\x9cadded value partners\xe2\x80\x9d. Essential duties and responsibilities Overall responsibility to deliver against the Execution Fundamentals
  • Physical availability and Visibility
  • Design Tailored Brand Strategies by Channel
  • Ensure Perfect Store Guidelines Yearly Updates, Updating MSL, Placement, Planograms
  • Ensure that the in-store guidelines are clearly articulated and cascaded to distributors and J&J Teams for execution
  • Ensure the J&J brand portfolio has the optimal coverage and distribution
  • Ensure the J&J brand portfolio has the optimal pricing vs competition
Customers and Categories
  • To work in partnership with key customers, drive category reviews and plans in regional JBPs
  • Customer category Management initiatives through to execution.
  • Define with CD, the Shopper Role and engagement calendar with Lead Customers
  • Deliver Shopper Research initiatives in-line with the plan & budget both via customer projects and by collaboration with regional, EMEA and global shopper functions
  • Deliver in-store research, e.g. store staff & Shopper closeness research
  • Measure promotional performance and support the marketing team to deliver in-store activation that delivers optimal return on investment Added Value Projects
  • Work with CD Director to design and run an Internal AMET Executional Awards program to J&J People
  • Manage relationship, negotiation, drive costs down through the \xe2\x80\x98Integrator\xe2\x80\x99 project (PSOM) 3 rd party partner
  • Lead our sustainability agenda (POSM, Promo Packs, Customer initiatives)
  • Ensure a proper Perfect Store Tracking System is in place in Key Markets
  • Drive Digital 1 st initiatives in Shopper (Perfect Store Digitalization, Sales Force Training_
  • Lead MSL+ Implementation and coordinate with Markets to drive Profitable growth People Management
  • Develop, support, and grow talent in shopper team
  • Manage key stakeholders to ensure that they are aware of developments across all aspects of the business
  • Ensure that the leadership team is aligned to the action plans and the priorities, so they can engage appropriately and be supportive and provide direction.
  • Engage the critical enabler functions; marketing, finance, supply chain, CD to ensure that you have a full cross functional plan with clear accountabilities and responsibilities with a unified goal Cross functional working
  • Provide clarity on Ways of Working for Shopper Team (Agile, Squad Meetings, S&OP, Promo Planning \xe2\x80\xa6) \xe2\x80\x93 create a total view on Shopper (vs. fragmented category or franchise view).
  • Work as a key member of the customer and commercial function to share best practices and provide support to colleagues to improve business efficiency and growth
  • Work collaboratively with customer team to ensure best practice application of investment, in store drivers, customer partnerships and distribution.

Qualifications

Essential Knowledge and Skills 10+ years mix of Shopper Marketing, commercial and business roles Proven Shopper, Trade Marketing Experience is a MUST, and Customer Development experience is a plus Proven track record in developing category and channel strategy & put it into excellence in execution Experience from a multi-national company in preferably FMCG or OTC in a regional role. Cross functional experience e.g. marketing is a Plus Excellent Verbal and written English. Arabic is a Plus Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Consumer Health business to create a new publicly traded company. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 24 months, and it will be subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as required, and other customary conditions and approvals. It is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, this position may be conveyed with New Consumer Health. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to the successful candidate by New Consumer Health at an appropriate time and would be subject to any necessary consultation processes.
