Job Description

Our client is a vital government entity in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. They are looking to grow their team by hiring a talented Emirati National as Head of Information Security. The role manages the operations of the Information Security Operations Section by developing plans and mechanisms of work for information security and follows up on all relevant executive work to ensure the updating and standardization of security standards in the systems used to achieve the objectives and strategies of the entity.

Role:

- Develop a strategy for Corporate IT in line with department strategy defining strategic objectives and related performance indicators
- Develop policies, procedures, guidelines, and reports to cover all areas of work, achieving compliance with internal controls
- Develop foundations & standards for the systems, programs, and devices used to ensure the readiness, safety, and security of all devices and technical operating systems
- Identify the capabilities of systems & programs and identify resources needed to provide security solutions
- Ensure the improvement and development of the information security system
- Develop information security procedures through the development of protection tools, follow-up programs of the Department's information systems & operational security management to monitor threats, vulnerabilities, and risks
- Lead the development of information security projects and ensure the precise implementation of security systems to address and prevent information reveal
-Supervise the technical support services for both internal and external networks
- Lead the development of information security programs and the development of tools

Requirements:

- Family Book holder only considered
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or its equivalent
- Security-related certifications
- Minimum 12 years' experience
- Must have operational experience in drafting policies and assessing business requirements from a security perspective
- 2 years experience managing a team
