Head of Sales, Middle East - Full Time - Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Join our Services_EMEA team within Services division in United Arab Emirates as Head of Sales, Middle East to help us take our bisiness development to the next level.

Purpose of the job - responsible for the coordination and functional management of all services products like pumps services, PPR (part parts & retrofit), turbo-services sales resources within the region to deliver year on year growth in both volume and margin.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the Middle East region to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • To develop growth plans for the region and implement and execute these growth plans. Put sufficient processes in place to measure the success of the growth plans.
  • Drive growth on the full Sulzer services portfolio and support all cross selling initiatives .
  • To have joint ownership of the development and implementation for a growthplan.
  • Ensure sufficient workload and support the capacity alignment with the regional workshops & FSE.
  • To co-ordinate and check the activities including visit plans of the Regional Sales Managers and ensure we develop a culture of aggressive goal achievement \xe2\x80\x93 we consistently find ways to deliver our promises opposed to find reasons why we failed.
  • To ensure all Regional Sales Managers provide prompt and accurate feedback on outstanding quotes to support effective forecasting and update all required data.
  • To produce and own the RFC for Order Intake and Order Intake GP.
  • To ensure succession is built into our organisation and that recruiting from outside is the exception rather than the norm.
  • To ensure our main parts customers are visited on a regular basis and their needs are efficiently looked after.
  • To support all Regional Sales Managers if any issues occur (customer, agents, internal process etc.).
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth.
  • To work closely with the internal teams to identify opportunities for improvement and jointly develop plans to deliver on these opportunities.
  • Drive and support the global and regional initiatives.
  • To support the operations function in resolving problems with contracts and managing the relationship with the end user to ensure it is maintained.
What you bring to Sulzer:
  • Mechanical engineering degree;
  • Sales experience in services business > 10 years;
  • Management experience > 5;
  • OEM experience is preferrable;
  • Experience of implementing sales strategy;
  • Knowledge of export sales;
  • Financial/budget management;
  • General computer skills.
