We have a great opportunity for a seasoned Head of People & Culture to join us in Muscat, Oman or Riyadh, KSA. We are looking for someone eager and energetic, who wants to grow and achieve goals together with our team and sees IT as a preferred sector to work in. We need you to be independent & proactive - you don't need clear tasks, guidelines or processes - you can work them out yourself. About you: You know how to lead change and sell ideas to different stakeholders in a human way. You can be both strategic and operational if required and you have been operating at a Senior HR Manager level accountable for the entire employee experience. You get things done and you are agile. You are good at involving people, managing change, selling ideas and having design thinking and a marketing touch. You can work in a business case mode (prioritising, evaluating impact vs effort and cost). You are ready to travel as we operate with distributed delivery model and we are an international company with an ambition to grow in the region (GCC and North Africa). You are a great team player and you can connect with people across the organisation. You can communicate efficiently in writing, verbally and through presentations. Your English is excellent and knowledge of Arabic would be a bonus. You bring solid experience from a fast-paced HR leadership position ideally from the technology or professional services industry

Additionally you may have Previous experience from within a scale-up/start-up business Experience in working in international matrixed teams

What you will be doing: Leading the employee experience topic, making sure that Nortal is the best place to work. Developing and leading initiatives which support people's growth, development and career opportunities available. Building high-performing teams that achieve top results by working together in an environment of trust. Being the main contributor to building organizational culture, which supports our strategic goals. Contributing to Nortal growth by supporting our access to talent Topic owner for HR Analytics and advising on Employment law in our local markets; An active member of the international People & Culture team. Making sure that Nortal is a similar company in all geographies understanding local needs and challenges.

You region specific goals will be: Being a strategic partner and value-adding advisor to our leaders. Making sure that our HR and Office team works seamlessly in our countries. Make sure that Nortal MEA is true Nortal, not a guerrilla remote office, including strong cooperation with leaders and team members in other regions. Helping to build high-performance teams with a "1 team mentality" in projects - onsite, across borders, and even with the customer. Building a local Nortal Talent hub, by attracting junior people to our local markets. As the delivery team is allocated between different countries, hybrid work support is needed.
