Job Title Operation Manager Department Operation Job Code OPM Reporting Relationships Reports to : ED/CEO Supervises : Operation Team Location Sharjah Industrial Area 2 Role Purpose The role is to lead and oversee the operational aspects of the business to ensure the efficient and successful execution of the car auction processes. Key Accountabilities key Activities: Operations Management Oversee all aspects of the company\'s operations, including vehicle acquisition, inventory management, auction processes, and post-auction activities. Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and strategies to enhance efficiency and optimize performance. Monitor and evaluate operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and legal requirements. Auction Process Management Oversee the entire car auction process from the intake of vehicles to the final sale, ensuring adherence to established protocols and best practices. Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure proper inspection, valuation, and documentation of vehicles for auction. Staff Management and Development Provide guidance and support to staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Conduct performance evaluations and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge. Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Collaborating with HR for operational team members to gather data for grievance handling, and submitting monthly attendance report. Customer Service Excellence Ensure exceptional customer service is provided to all auction participants, including buyers and sellers. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders. Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. Inventory Management Implement effective inventory management practices to ensure accurate tracking of vehicles and efficient utilization of space. Monitor and analyze inventory levels to optimize stock turnover and reduce holding costs. Quality Assurance and Compliance Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of auction listings and vehicle information. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Stay updated on changes in regulations and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance. Logistics and Transportation Collaborate with logistics and transportation teams to organize the timely delivery and collection of vehicles to and from auction sites. Monitor logistics performance and address any issues affecting operational efficiency. Compliance and Legal Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Stay updated on changes in regulations and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance. Collaborate with legal counsel to address any legal issues or concerns. Reporting and Analysis Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the operational team\'s performance and identify areas for improvement. Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, proposing strategies for optimization. Safety and Security Implement safety protocols and maintain a secure environment for staff, customers, and vehicles. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards throughout the operational process. Business Development and Growth Identify and pursue opportunities for business growth and expansion. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement strategies to attract new customers and increase auction participation. Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge. Participate in industry events and networking activities to build relationships and explore new business opportunities. Financial Management Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage the operations budget, ensuring cost control and profitability. Monitor expenses, revenue, and financial performance indicators, implementing strategies to improve profitability and operational efficiency. Analyze financial data and prepare reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior management. Experience:
  • Operations Manager: 8 years (Preferred)
