Our client, one of the fastest growing banks in the UAE is currently looking for a hands-on and experienced Head of Operations & Information Technology to join their dynamic team in Abu Dhabi.

- Provide leadership to the Operations & Admin team, ensuring optimization/continuous improvement of delivery platforms and processes in order to deliver customer-focused support to the bank
- Service Orientation and Customer Relationship Management in being responsive to customer needs
- Accountable for productivity, turnaround time, accuracy level, cost management & customer satisfaction
- Identify & manage Operational risk, in particular through the effective implementation of the following toolkits/ measures
- Ensure that operations & Admin staff are fully aware of all the policies and procedures issued in relation to money laundering prevention
Client requirements
- Minimum 12-15 years' experience from a similar background
- Arabic speaking / UAE national is preferred
- Advanced knowledge in bank financing and Islamic modes of financing
- Knowledge in sharia' compliance regulations and Islamic banking standards
- Advanced knowledge in IFRS standards
- Effective team management skills
