Job Description
Our client is a UAE based bank with a strong focus on technological innovation. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head of IT Infrastructure to lead our technology operations.
As the Head of IT Infrastructure, you will be responsible for overseeing the bank\'s entire IT infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, security, and scalability. You will play a crucial role in driving technology strategy to support growth and enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive IT infrastructure strategy in alignment with the bank\'s goals.
- Manage and lead a team of IT professionals responsible for network, servers, data centers, and cloud services.
- Ensure the availability, performance, and security of all IT systems and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with other departments to assess technology needs and implement solutions.
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies to maintain a state-of-the-art infrastructure.
- Oversee vendor relationships and procurement of infrastructure-related services and products.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master\'s preferred).
- Proven experience in a leadership role managing IT infrastructure in the banking or financial services sector.
- Strong technical expertise in network architecture, server management, data center operations, and cloud computing.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity, compliance, and disaster recovery.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic technology plans.
- Experience within the GCC, and preferably the UAE is advantageous
