Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced

Head of Inclusion

to lead and manage the school's inclusive education framework. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing, implementing, and monitoring inclusive practices that support students of determination and those with additional learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the inclusion team in designing and delivering high-impact support strategies for students of determination and those requiring additional learning support. Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress. Ensure compliance with ADEK (or relevant education authority) policies, local laws, and international standards on inclusive education. Collaborate with school leadership, teachers, and external professionals to ensure effective and consistent inclusion practices. Provide training and support to staff to promote inclusive teaching and learning strategies. Liaise with parents to provide regular updates and support related to student development and progress. Ensure accurate documentation and reporting on all students receiving support services.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Psychology, or related field (Master's degree preferred) Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with additional needs, including leadership roles in inclusion or special education Strong understanding of the UAE Inclusive Education Framework or relevant inclusion frameworks Experience in curriculum differentiation, learning support, and behavior intervention Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills Certified and authenticated educational credentials and employment records
