Job Summary:

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven

Head of Finance

to lead our financial planning, analysis, and operational finance functions. This role is critical to shaping and executing the company's financial strategy, driving sustainable growth, optimizing margins, and preparing the business for investor engagement and capital raising.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Leadership

Develop and execute the company's long-term financial strategy aligned with business goals.

Financial Planning & Analysis

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support data-driven decisions. Monitor and analyze key financial metrics, providing insights on business performance. Drive scenario planning and risk management strategies.

Operational Finance & Margin Optimization

Oversee cash flow management, working capital, and cost optimization initiatives. Partner with business units to improve profitability and operational efficiency. Lead pricing and cost structure reviews to enhance gross and net margins.

Investor Readiness & Fundraising

Prepare financial materials, forecasts, and data rooms for investors and board members. Collaborate on capital raising strategies including equity, debt, or alternative financing. Support investor relations through regular updates, reporting, and performance narratives.

Governance, Controls & Compliance

Ensure robust financial controls, processes, and reporting systems are in place. Maintain compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards. Oversee audit processes and interface with external auditors and legal advisors.

Leadership & Team Development

Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team. Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making. Identify and evaluate growth opportunities including new markets, partnerships, and M&A.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CPA/CFA preferred). 10+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles, preferably in high-growth or investor-backed companies. Proven experience in strategic planning, financial modeling, and investor relations. Strong knowledge of financial controls, accounting standards, and compliance. Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Startup or scale-up experience is a strong plus.
