W1TTY is a fast-growing UK based fintech, setting new standards for digital finance. We\xe2\x80\x99re building a new digital finance platform and a fully mobile-based finance app, offering multicurrency accounts, domestic and international transfers, debit cards, and instant payments. Amongst our platform are components such as core banking, mobile banking, cards systems, and many more.

The Head of Delivery will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of digital banking products and services. This role involves overseeing the end-to-end project and program management, ensuring efficient resource allocation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the financial industry and a strong track record of delivering digital banking solutions.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

• Lead the Software Product Delivery: Run the portfolio of projects resulting in successful launch of one and more complex software products to the commercial market.
• Leadership: Recruit, lead and mentor a cross-functional team to build and execute growth strategies.
• Partnerships: Identify and negotiate key partnerships to drive growth of the products you\xe2\x80\x99re delivering and running.
• Business Analysis: Monitor and assess performance of the market of your software products.

Project and Program Management:

• Lead a team of project managers and delivery professionals to oversee the successful execution of digital banking projects and programs.
• Define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, technology, compliance, and marketing, to ensure seamless delivery and integration of digital banking services.
• Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and partners.

Software Delivery Management:

• Lead and manage the software delivery team, including software developers, engineers, and project managers.
• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality software products on time and within budget.

Project Planning and Execution:

• Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets for software development projects.
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful delivery.

Technology and Innovation:

• Stay up-to-date with the latest software development technologies and trends.
• Drive innovation within the software delivery process.

Risk Management:

• Identify potential risks and issues related to software projects and proactively address them.
• Develop contingency plans to mitigate project risks.

Quality Assurance:

• Implement best practices for quality assurance and risk management throughout the delivery process.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
• Implement testing and QA procedures to maintain software quality and reliability.

Team Development:

• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing delivery team.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability within the team.

Reporting and Analysis:

• Provide regular reports and updates on project status, key performance indicators (KPIs), and delivery metrics to senior management.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business, Finance, or a related field (Master\'s degree preferred).
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in project and program management in the financial industry, with a focus on digital banking.
• Need to have a background delivering software projects (e.g. .NET, Java, JavaScript, SQL, Oracle, iOS, Android etc.). You should have experience of software release management/technical delivery. Moreover, previous experience as a Software Developer is hugely preferred.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering digital banking products and services.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Agile) is a plus.
