Responsibilities:
- Drive the strategy and execution of our internal data & analytics platform
- Understand business requirements to build data infrastructure using big data technologies
- Work very closely with our IT, Operations, Business and Finance teams to develop our reporting and analytics capabilities.
- In charge to drive day to day analytical approaches and exploring solutions to problems
- Involve in the management of the business’s overall analytical needs and opportunities
- Actively propose and develop innovative solutions to generate business insight from data
- Participate in identification and resolution of issues and lead efforts toward solutions
- Utilize scientific methods and statistical learning to produce actionable insights
- Create new data-driven approaches for purpose of generating business insights through data analytics and information visualization
- Work closely with management in establishing our data, reporting and analytics OKRs
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Data Science, Economics, Statistics or Computer Science
- Has 7 to 10 years of working experience or 5+ years as a data engineer / data scientist
- Has proven and successful experience in execution of data analytics initiatives, leading to improvement of business’s performance and driving top-line growth
- Has knowledge with cloud eg. AWS and in-depth expertise in SQL and python required. Candidate who has knowledge in data processing tools such as Spark will be an advantage.
- Has knowledge and practices of ETL/ELT processes and agile methodologies
- Has experience working with wide range of data to predict financial metrics for business
- Experience is machine learning a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
