Key responsibilities

Floral design:

Create decorative arrangements using fresh, dried, or silk flowers and greenery for events, holidays, and special occasions.

Customer service:

Consult with clients to understand their floral needs, process orders, handle payments, and assist with customer inquiries.

Flower and supply management:

Order, receive, and inspect flowers and supplies. Trim stems, condition blooms, and maintain proper hydration to ensure freshness.

Shop maintenance:

Keep the workspace clean, organized, and well-maintained for both safety and efficiency.

Sales and marketing:

Advise customers on flower selection, care, and design options, and potentially sell related products and accessories.

Duties and responsibilities

Design and creation

: Use creative and artistic skills to design and produce floral arrangements for occasions like weddings, funerals, holidays, and other special events.

Customer service

: Advise clients on flower choices, budgets, and arrangement types. Take orders, and handle customer inquiries and special requests, both in-person and over the phone.

Inventory management

: Order flowers and supplies from vendors, process incoming shipments, and manage inventory to ensure a fresh, high-quality selection.

Flower care

: Condition and care for fresh flowers, plants, and other greenery to ensure their longevity and vibrancy.

Merchandising

: Arrange visually appealing displays in the shop or floral department to attract customers and showcase products.

Requirements:

Male

Prior experience as a florist or in flower arrangement (minimum 1 year preferred) Artistic and creative mindset with strong attention to detail Good communication and customer service skills Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Friendly, professional, and team-oriented

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of flower care and handling techniques Experience working in luxury retail or gift packaging a plus Basic English communication is a plus
