Head Chef (Pre-opening) - International Cuisine Employment Type: Full Time Salary: up to 16K AED all-inclusive depending on experience and qualifications Job Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE About the Client: A multi-concept, all-day dining experience offering a blend of specialty coffee, comfort food, and fine dining. o Design and continuously refine the menu, focusing on seasonal, sustainable, and innovative dishes. o Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation; Ensure all dishes are prepared to consistently high standards and meet health, safety, and quality regulations. o Conduct regular training sessions on culinary skills, safety, and kitchen procedures; Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations of kitchen team members. o Manage food cost and labor budgets, ensuring profitability while maintaining quality and work closely with procurement to source premium ingredients at optimal pricing.
Requirements
8+ years of culinary experience, with at least 3 years in a Head Chef or Executive Chef role in a high-end restaurant or hotel. o Proven expertise in international cuisine, with strong creativity and technical skills. o Formal culinary training from a recognized institution is preferred. o Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations (HACCP certification is a plus).
