Job description We are looking for an experienced and qualified Head Chef / Kitchen manager who is specialized in Continental Cuisines for our Fine Dining Restaurants. You will be the first in command in the facilities and will create and inspect dishes before they arrive at the customers ensuring high quality and contentment. Job Responsibilities:
- >Ensuring that all food items and products are stored, prepared and served based on the restaurant's recipe, preparation and portion standards
- >Evaluating and disciplining kitchen personnel accordingly and conducting employment evaluation.
- >Ordering kitchen materials and ingredients based on the menu and market demand
- >Supervising food preparation in the kitchen and ensuring consistency.
- >Maintaining clean working environments and making sure that employees follow the restaurant's preventive maintenance measures.
- >Maintaining adequate inventory levels and conducting weekly inventories.
- >Working with Restaurant Manager to ensure dishes availability.
- >Scheduling shifts by business hours, days, and occasions.
- >Overseeing the training of employees to ensure the safe operation of kitchen equipment and utensils and the proper handling of heavy items and hazardous materials.
- >Complying with the local authorities guidelines on Hygiene & HACCP.
- >Menu development planning & recipes development.
- >Cost of good sales: accountability of food costing performance.
- >Proper Par-level follow
- >Maintaining FIFO & FEFO.
- >Maintaining a proper follow and compliance of daily QA files Job Requirements :
- >Minimum 5 years relevant experience
- >Awareness of manual handling techniques
- >Experience of kitchen equipment
- >Competent level of English spoken and written
- >Candidate on cancelled visa or visiting visa can apply
