Job Description

Job Purpose:



We are seeking an experienced and creative Head Chef/Kitchen Manager from Mediterranean/International cuisine to lead our culinary team. The Head Chef/Kitchen Manager will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring exceptional culinary experiences for our guests.

Create innovative, high-quality menus and recipes, or adapt existing recipes to elevate menu offerings that align with the restaurant's standards. Ensure all dishes are prepared according to recipes and standards, maintaining consistency in taste, and presentation. Hiring, training, and supervising kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants. Conducting performance evaluations, providing feedback, and addressing any performance issues or training needs. Monitor food production to minimize waste, maintain cost efficiency while upholding food safety and hygiene regulations. Monitoring sales trends and customer feedback to make data-driven decisions regarding menu adjustments and promotions. Work closely with management to achieve budgetary goals while maintaining quality. Collaborate with purchasing and suppliers to procure high-quality ingredients within budgetary constraints. Implementing cost-saving measures and strategies to maximize profitability without compromising on food quality. Coordinating with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth flow of food orders and timely service to customers while maintaining food quality. Maintain inventory levels and oversee proper storage and rotation of food supplies. Stay updated on industry trends and culinary techniques, continually enhancing the restaurant's menu offerings and guest experience. Maintain cleanliness and optimal working condition of all equipment through regular personal inspections, adherence to restaurant cleaning protocols, and compliance with preventative maintenance schedules. Responsible for cross-training and new product launches and ensuring that standards are followed and maintained.

Qualifications:



Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred. Minimum 2-5 years of proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant. Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, flavor profiles, and kitchen management best practices. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with ability to motivate and mentor kitchen staff. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good command of English. Arabic will be an advantage
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
