WE ARE HIRING - HDPE PIPE TECHNICIAN

Location: Abu Dhabi

Department: Construction / Maintenance

Reports To: Site Supervisor / Project Engineer

Salary: AED 2,000 - 3,000 + OT and Accommodation

JOB PURPOSE

We are looking for an experienced HDPE Technician to carry out HDPE pipe installation, butt fusion, and electrofusion jointing for construction and maintenance projects. The work must be completed safely, with good quality, and without leaks, following company procedures and HSE rules.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

HDPE pipe installation for new works and maintenance Perform Butt Fusion and Electrofusion welding Carry out pipeline repair, cutting, joining, and leak fixing Operate and maintain butt fusion & electrofusion machines Ensure correct pipe preparation, alignment, heating, fusion, and cooling Attend emergency breakdowns and urgent maintenance works Work in trenches, chambers, and confined spaces when required Support pressure testing, flushing, and commissioning works Read and understand drawings and layouts Inspect fusion joints and correct any defects Maintain fusion records, logs, and work reports Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and QA/QC team Follow all HSE rules, PPE requirements, and safe work practices Maintain tools, equipment, and good housekeeping at site
REQUIRED SKILLS

Strong experience in HDPE Butt Fusion & Electrofusion Knowledge of PE80 / PE100 pipes, SDR, and pressure ratings Experience in construction and maintenance works Ability to identify and solve leakage or fusion problems Good teamwork and communication skills
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

ITI / Diploma or equivalent (preferred) HDPE Butt Fusion & Electrofusion Certificate (preferred) Minimum 3-5 years experience Experience in water, sewer, gas, irrigation, or cooling pipelines is an advantage
Physical& Work Conditions

Must be able to work outdoors and on site Physically fit for manual work and machine operation Willing to work shifts, night duty, and emergency call-outs
