Responsibilities

Weatherford Integrated Service Project (ISP) provides our clients with integrated operations from conception to completion and executes the right services with a comprehensive portfolio of technologies. Our integrated approach helps our customers to advance projects overall efficiency, mitigate potential risks, and deliver wells earlier. Weatherford ISP is involved in various integrated projects around the world, delivered more 2,500 wells and drilled more than 18 million feet.

The ISP Geozone Business Manager (GBM) plans, directs and oversees the overall operations, financial health of the ISP business in MENA. He/she is responsible for the efficient and profitable management of all ISP projects in the region. Furthermore, the MENA ISP GBM works closely with the Global ISP team to facilitate the development, control and consistent application of ISP project management processes and methodologies, whilst supporting the optimum performance of the MENA business and ensuring continual compliance and alignment with Regional and Corporate requirements.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Maintain the highest standards of governance, ensuring that all activities are carried out ethically and in compliance with WFRD\xe2\x80\x99s Compliance & QHSE policies, management systems, relevant laws, regulations, standards and industry practices and complies with the Company\xe2\x80\x99s \xe2\x80\x98Rules to Live By\xe2\x80\x99.
  • Takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford\xe2\x80\x99s Management System and Company\'s Quality policies.
  • Maintains Service Quality as an immediate priority when working across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for improvement.
  • Monitor overall project controls and implement ISP operational guidelines, procedures and best practices.
  • Plan, evaluate, and improve the efficiency of ISP operations and commercial processes and procedures to enhance quality, efficiency, and output.
  • Review performance data that includes QHSE, financial, capital efficiency and utilization reports to monitor and measure projects efficiency, productivity, goal achievement, and overall effectiveness. Act to address any potential performance issues.
  • Manage the overall operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities and activities of the ISP Business Unit in the MENA region. Management of AFE\xe2\x80\x99s
  • Provide monthly and quarterly assessments and forecasts of operational financial performance against budget and operational goals.
  • Identify areas of improvements resource utilization, improvements/efficiencies and planning accuracy to boost ISP financial performance in the region.
  • Actively engage the ISP employees to support talent management through Weatherford\xe2\x80\x99s performance management process, including but not limited to talent acquisition, assessments, succession planning & regular coaching opportunities.
  • Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity throughout the ISP projects and enable each employee in ISP team to succeed.
  • Identify opportunities for growth within existing clients pool and develop and implement clear and coherent strategies for realizing revenue generating opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development of tender\xe2\x80\x99s submissions or proposals including opportunity assessment, development of bidding strategies and tactics (e.g. risk/rewards scheme) and assisting with the formulation of tender submissions. Drive client negotiations.
Qualifications
  • University Degree Qualifications in Mechanical, Electronic, Petroleum engineering or relevant.
  • Certified Project Management (PMI).
  • Minimum of 15 years of direct experience within oilfield operations including 5 years in senior management responsibilities. Comprehensive knowledge and operational understanding of ISP and oilfield services and equipment.
  • Experience in Integrated Services and Project Management economic, budgeting, and accounting principles and practices. Sales, tender and contract management experience required.
  • Possess strong customer service skills, i.e. listening, follow-through, willingness to help.
  • Good interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching and development skills.
  • Good presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex issues.
