Job Title: Gym and Recreation Attendant ( Camp)

Reports to: Facilities Manager or Camp Administrator

Location: Abu Dhabi Western Region

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

We're seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Gym and Recreation Attendant to join our team at our Labor Camp. As a Gym and Recreation Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the gym and recreational facilities, ensuring a clean and safe environment for labor camp residents, and providing support for recreational activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Facility Maintenance: Clean and maintain the gym, recreational facilities, and equipment, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.

- Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and maintain fitness equipment, sports equipment, and other recreational facilities.

- Recreational Activities: Assist in organizing and promoting recreational activities, such as sports tournaments, fitness classes, and other events.

- Safety and Security: Monitor the facilities, enforce safety rules and regulations, and respond to emergencies.

- Support Services: Provide support for labour camp residents, respond to their queries, and escalate issues to management as needed.

Requirements:

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in fitness, recreation, or a related field preferred.

- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, First Aid certification, or other relevant certifications.

- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role or environment preferred.

- Skills:

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Basic knowledge of fitness equipment and recreational facilities.

Labour Camp Specific Requirements:

- Accommodation: Ability to live in a labour camp environment with basic amenities.

- Shift Work: Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.

- Cultural Sensitivity: Ability to work with a diverse group of labour camp residents from various cultural backgrounds.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From AED2,500.00 per month
