Gym Attendant

Summary:

A Gym Attendant plays an important role in maintaining the gym or fitness center's overall functionality and ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for Tenants and Clients. They are responsible for assisting clients, managing equipment, and upholding safety regulations within the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

-Interact with Tenants and Clients, providing assistance, guidance, and information regarding equipment usage, classes, and facility amenities.
-Address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive experience for all gym members and visitors.

Facility Maintenance:

-Ensure cleanliness and organization of the exercise areas, including wiping down equipment, sanitizing surfaces, and mopping floors regularly.
-Monitor and replenish supplies such as towels, water, and other amenities available to Tenants and Clients.

Equipment Oversight:

-Inspect and maintain gym equipment regularly, identifying any issues or malfunctions and reporting them to management for timely repairs or replacements.
-Arrange equipment in proper order and assist Tenants and Clients in safely using machinery as needed.

Safety and Wellness Compliance:

-Enforce safety protocols and guidelines to ensure Tenants and Clients follow proper procedures while exercising.
-Monitor the gym floor to prevent accidents, and promptly respond to any safety concerns or emergencies.

Administrative Tasks:

-Assist in administrative duties such as membership sign-ups, fee collection, and record-keeping as required.
-Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless operations within the facility.

Skills and Qualifications:

Customer service-oriented with excellent communication skills. Knowledgeable about gym equipment and fitness principles. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a dynamic environment. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance and cleanliness. CPR/First Aid certification may be required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: QAR2,000.00 - QAR2,500.00 per month
