Key Responsibilities

  • Operate the hotel's telephone switchboard, handling all incoming and outgoing calls efficiently.
  • Record, log, and process guest requests, messages, and wake-up calls accurately.
  • Manage guest service requests and coordinate with relevant departments for prompt resolution.
  • Respond to guest inquiries, complaints, and service needs with professionalism.
  • Relay messages and information to guests clearly and accurately.
  • Monitor unanswered calls, follow up with callers, and ensure timely assistance.
  • Maintain updated records of guest communications and call logs.
  • Test and maintain communication systems, ensuring they function properly at all times.
  • Adhere to brand communication standards and uphold The Ritz-Carlton service excellence philosophy.
Ideal Profile
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.
  • Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional phone etiquette and ability to multitask.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction.
