We are seeking an engaging, attentive, and service-oriented Guest Relations Officer to deliver outstanding and personalized guest experiences from arrival through departure. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication abilities, attention to detail, and a sincere enthusiasm for exceeding guest expectations. This position is fundamental to elevating guest satisfaction, managing VIP arrangements, and supporting seamless front office operations.
Key Responsibilities
Warmly greet and assist guests at check-in, check-out, and throughout their stay, providing professional and efficient service at all times.
Proactively anticipate guest needs and share knowledgeable recommendations about the hotel's services, amenities, and local attractions.
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and with a solutions-focused mindset, ensuring every guest feels valued and supported.
Coordinate all facets of VIP guest arrivals and departures, ensuring special preferences and room preparations are executed flawlessly.
Organize and fulfill special guest requests--including anniversaries, birthdays, and unique room setups--with meticulous attention to detail.
Actively promote and upsell hotel offerings, dining venues, and special packages to enhance guest experiences and support revenue goals.
Ensure guest-facing areas are consistently maintained to the highest cleanliness and presentation standards in line with the hotel's brand image.
Collaborate closely with Housekeeping, Concierge, Food & Beverage, and other departments to ensure smooth, coordinated service delivery for every guest.
Collect guest feedback throughout and after the stay, communicate key insights, and support follow-up efforts to drive continuous service improvement.
Maintain a polished, professional demeanor at all times and contribute to fostering a cooperative, guest-centric team culture.
Qualifications & Requirements
Previous experience in a guest-facing hospitality role is strongly preferred.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Approachable, friendly attitude with the ability to remain composed under pressure.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
Genuine passion for hospitality and dedication to consistently exceeding guest expectations.
