?YZ About the Role
Silver LinksaEUR"responsible for roaming relations and services across the AXIAN Telecom GroupaEUR"is seeking a Group Roaming Engineer (GRE). Reporting to the Head of Group Roaming, you will help develop and maintain roaming coverage for all AXIAN affiliates by running IREG/TADIG and retail-offer tests using a remote testing tool.
?Y"? Key Responsibilities
Manage the remote testing tool for all validation campaigns.
Execute IREG/TADIG tests across AXIAN affiliates.
Run retail roaming-offer tests to verify customer experience.
Configure IREG network nodes (2G/3G/4G/5G/VoLTE parameters).
Analyze signaling traces and troubleshoot roaming issues.
Perform GRQ tests (Global Roaming Queries).
Verify subscriber profiles in HLR/HSS and CBS systems.
Read IN/CBS data to investigate and resolve customer complaints.
Report test results and KPIs to the Head of Group Roaming and OpCo teams.
?YOE? Collaboration & Work Environment
Liaise with OpCo roaming managers and retail commercial teams to schedule and validate tests.
Coordinate with Group Roaming colleagues (GRPM & GRCC) on reporting requirements and IREG identification.
Interface with vendors, third-party providers, and partners (DCH/TADIG, SCCP/IPX) for trace analysis.
Support OpCo technical teams in IREG setup and trace access when direct access isnaEUR(TM)t available.
?Y Your Profile
Education: MasteraEUR(TM)s degree in Telecommunications Core Network or equivalent.
Experience:
At least 5 years in the telecom industry, responsible for achieving technical targets.
Minimum 5 years of IREG/TADIG testing and roaming node configuration.
Technical Skills:
Deep understanding of 2G/3G/4G/5G/VoLTE architectures and roaming call flows.
Proficiency in troubleshooting, trace analysis, and roaming KPI interpretation.
Soft Skills:
Strong autonomy, organization, and ability to multitask.
Excellent analytical thinking, continuous-improvement mindset, and risk management.
Outstanding communication and relationship-building abilities.
