The Role
Highly qualified Legal Counsel to oversee the legal aspects of our business. The counsel should safeguard the reputation of the group by guaranteeing the group strictly follows law guidelines and give legal advice to management about all relevant issues. The Counsel should also ensure legal conformity and minimize probability of exposure. : \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide accurate, relevant and timely advice to your employer and other members of staff on a variety of legal topics that relate to government regulations, commercial and corporate activities; \xe2\x80\xa2 Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating documents (e.g. Regulatory approval forms, license applications, company formation) commercial contracts and agreements as required; \xe2\x80\xa2 Managing and mitigating legal risks by designing and implementing company policies and procedures; \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations that are applicable to the business; \xe2\x80\xa2 Promoting legal, compliance and risk management best practice throughout the company; \xe2\x80\xa2 Communicating with and managing any third party bodies such as external counsel or auditors; \xe2\x80\xa2 Stay up-to-date with changes to legislation, particularly in relation to laws, rules and regulations that directly affect the business and specific industry; \xe2\x80\xa2 Liaising with senior members of staff and keeping them informed;

Requirements

• Experience as a legal counsel in Media Trade License \xe2\x80\xa2 Sound understanding and knowledge of commercial and corporate law internationally and within the UAE \xe2\x80\xa2 Specifically, with respect to the UAE highly knowledgeable about the Federal and local law \xe2\x80\xa2 Have more than 6 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as a commercial lawyer working in-house, 2 years at least in related industry (Media Trade License) \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong communication and presentation skills; \xe2\x80\xa2 Degree for a reputable institute; \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent negotiating and drafting skill; \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to build and maintain strong professional relations across the business; \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and work in autonomous environment. \xe2\x80\xa2 Bilingual (Arabic and English) both should be strong.
