The Group HR Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the entire Human Resources and Administration function across all company locations within the group. This includes strategic workforce planning, policy standardization, team leadership, and ensuring operational excellence in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and HR systems. The role is central to ensuring that HR practices are aligned with the company's mission, culture, and business goals across different geographies.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic HR Leadership:
Develop and implement the overall HR strategy for the group in line with the company's objectives.
Standardize HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks across all locations while ensuring local legal compliance.
Lead organizational design, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.
HR Operations Oversight:
Supervise all HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, training, payroll coordination, benefits administration, and offboarding.
Oversee and optimize HR systems and ensure accurate data management and reporting across the group.
Establish KPIs and HR metrics to monitor performance, attrition, and engagement trends across branches.
Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and coordinate a distributed team of HR personnel across various offices.
Build strong relationships with HR representatives and department heads to ensure a consistent employee experience.
Conduct regular team meetings and provide guidance on complex HR issues and best practices.
Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with labor laws, visa regulations, and statutory requirements in each operational country.
Develop risk mitigation plans and ensure legal compliance in employment practices and documentation.
Lead internal audits, manage employee records, and oversee investigations related to employee grievances or misconduct.
Talent Acquisition & Development:
Drive centralized and efficient recruitment strategies to attract high-quality talent across functions.
Oversee training and development programs to promote employee growth, retention, and productivity.
Evaluate and enhance performance management systems, appraisals, and incentive structures.
Employee Relations & Culture:
Foster a healthy workplace culture that promotes transparency, respect, and employee engagement.
Address escalated HR matters including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and employee appeals.
Support senior management in change management initiatives and employee communications.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
8+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a regional or group-level role.
Proven experience managing multi-location HR operations, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or a multinational environment.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
In-depth knowledge of labor laws across the GCC (or respective regions of operation).
Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Willingness to travel to various company branches as needed.
Preferred:
Certification in HR (CIPD, SHRM, PHR) is a plus.
Experience in mergers, acquisitions, or organizational restructuring.
