Job Description

The Company Globe 24-7, in partnership with a long-established specialist in complex rock engineering, excavation, and underground construction projects, delivering foundational infrastructure solutions for both public and private sector clients, is seeking a Group Financial Controller to join their team in the UAE. This is a 2-year fixed contract. The Role As Group Financial Controller, you will lead all areas of financial management, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. You will design internal controls to support the companyaEUR(TM)s financial health, analyze data to inform decisions, and offer strategic guidance to senior leadership. The Responsibilities

Lead and support Finance Managers across the Group in daily operations and team development. Ensure accurate and timely accounting, financial administration, reporting, and analysis. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, and statutory reporting (including tax filings). Strengthen financial processes, policies, internal controls, and compliance with local and international regulations. Manage core financial operations such as billing, accounts payable/receivable, cost accounting, and revenue recognition. Provide strategic financial insight and maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders. Ensure system efficiency, data accuracy, and continuous improvement in financial workflows. The Requirements

Professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent). 10+ yearsaEUR(TM) experience in Finance within a large multinational, including project/contract-based environments. Proven leadership in senior finance roles covering multiple geographies. Skilled in team development, feedback, and performance reviews. Experience in financial reporting, compliance, and stakeholder management. Strong financial software and modelling skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work across functional teams and in cross-cultural environments. Sound understanding of financial regulations and the ability to adapt to evolving business demands.
