We are seeking a highly accomplished and strategic Group Financial Controller to lead the preparation of consolidated management accounts and deliver high-quality financial reporting and analysis across our group of companies. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in group-level MIS, financial controls, and board-level reporting, with a demonstrated ability to support executive decision-making through data-driven insights.
Job Profile:
Lead the preparation, consolidation, and review of monthly management accounts across the group, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with IFRS and internal policies
Deliver detailed financial analysis and board-level commentary, highlighting key trends, performance drivers, and actionable insights for senior stakeholders
Oversee the group reporting function, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, to support strategic and operational planning
Ensure consistent application of accounting policies, strong internal controls, and full compliance with relevant corporate governance standards across all entities
Coordinate and manage external audit processes, acting as the key liaison with auditors to ensure timely and clean audit outcomes
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives within financial reporting, controls, and compliance frameworks to enhance efficiency and transparency
Supervise and mentor finance teams across the group, driving standardization and high-quality financial practices
Work closely with the CFO and executive team to support strategic initiatives such as M&A, board presentations, and performance reviews
Qualifications and Skills:
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or ACCA with Bachelors Degree.
Minimum of 7 years' post-qualification experience in a senior financial control or group finance role.
Proven track record of managing group financial reporting and MIS in a multi-entity environment.
Prior experience in the GCC region is highly desirable.
In-depth knowledge of IFRS, corporate finance principles, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is an advantage.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
High attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
