Objective

Accountable for the integrity and execution of the accounting operations-Corporate wide planning, reporting, which include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company\'s reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles, international financial reporting standards

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the operations of the finance department, including the maintenance of the organizational structure and its suitability to achieving the department\'s goals and objectives aligned with corporate vision
• Responsible for preparing the monthly consolidated financial management reports and reviewing the standalone reports for all those business units
• Liaising with external auditors and with the properties and other assets\' valuators for semi-annual valuation and ad hoc valuation assignments to keep track of properties\' market value, updating the loans LTV and update the books accordingly
• Lead the Group\'s near-term and long-term global financial planning and budgeting process.
• Design and implement the annual budgeting and quarterly forecast process, assessing, and addressing complexities as a matrixed, multi-BU.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute the annual budget process: Work with individual business units to prepare the company\'s consolidated annual budget and monthly/ quarterly re-forecasts
• Define and manage the creation of monthly and quarterly financial reporting materials for leadership team and quarterly Board presentations
• Identify ways to improve business processes and information flow to improve Performance
• Create a full Business cycle, from financial reporting, starting with forecasting, internal reporting and analysis, quarterly Board presentation materials, through communications of financials results
• Assist in preparing a monthly reporting package that includes full financial statements, comprehensive Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting, operational Dashboard reporting, analysis of key business trends, actual versus budget variances and comprehensive executive level explanations of differences
• Develop internal financial reporting and commentary that provides senior leaders with timely insights into trends, operational results, and business drivers
• Oversee monthly collections & financial reporting including Income statement, statement of financial position, cash projections, forecasting and ensuring adherence to the international accounting standards
• Responsible for all activities relating to internal and external financial reporting Requirements
• Be a subject matter expert in U.S. GAAP (\'GAAP\'), with focus on providing advice and guidance on all technical accounting matters and preparation of documentation and accounting assessment, including memos, for all material transactions
• Coordinate the Company\'s annual audit and quarterly reviews with the Company\'s external auditor.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Finance with professional Qualification Associate Chartered Account (ACA)/ Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)/CMA/CPA.
• IFRS, GAAP, Internal Control etc. will be off added advantage
• 15+ years of post-qualification experience, 5 years in a similar role with primary responsibility of leading the Finance function of a business group having Diverse businesses.
• Preference from- Large business Group having subsidiary company involved in Property Development, Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction ,Manufacturing, and other diverse business
• A deep knowledge of accounting to ensure compliance with International Standards (Accounting and Financial Reporting), as well as to ensure correct recording & classification of costs
