Prepare, season, and cook menu items on the grill according to restaurant recipes and quality standards.
Monitor grill temperatures and cooking times to ensure food is cooked to the correct doneness.
Maintain consistent presentation and portion control for all grilled dishes.
Manage mise en place for the grill station, ensuring all ingredients and tools are ready before service.
Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and rotation following HACCP and food safety guidelines.
Coordinate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station, equipment, and work area.
Assist in menu planning and suggest improvements for grilled dishes if required.
Follow all health, hygiene, and safety standards in the kitchen.
Report equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to the Head Chef promptly.
Requirements:
Minimum
2-5 years of experience
as a Grill Chef or in a similar role in the F&B industry.
Strong knowledge of different grilling techniques, cooking methods, and meat preparation.
Familiarity with international and regional grilled food recipes.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
Culinary diploma or professional chef certification preferred but not mandatory.
