Job Overview
The Graphic Designer - IKEA Visual Communications plays a key role in transforming IKEA's brand strategy into compelling in-store experiences. You will plan and implement signage, product messaging, and visual materials in accordance with the IKEA trademark manual and communication guidelines. This position is critical in maintaining consistency, clarity, and appeal across all customer touchpoints within the store.
Key Responsibilities

• Ensure proper display and adherence to IKEA's graphic identity and trademark standards
• Design and install all graphic elements including signage, posters, and product descriptions in store areas
• Monitor and audit graphics regularly for consistency, translation accuracy, and brand alignment
• Collaborate with sales, logistics, and planning teams to support commercial activities and promotional schedules
• Apply graphic communication principles to non-customer areas to reflect the same professional IKEA environment
• Implement updates to graphic displays in line with commercial calendar and global IKEA direction
• Stay current on competitor trends, market shifts, and customer preferences to enhance store communication
• Use the IKEA toolbox and manuals to improve visual merchandising and personal design competency

Governance & Standards

• Follow IKEA's visual communication procedures and manual standards
• Ensure timely delivery of all graphics for campaigns and product launches

Job Requirements

• Hands-on experience using sign-making equipment and Macintosh graphic software
• Prior background in a commercial design environment or retail preferred
• Diploma or degree in Graphic Design or a relevant field
• Strong attention to detail, layout, and consistency
• Excellent time management and ability to deliver in a fast-paced retail setting
