We are seeking a graduate to join our team in Dubai, the ideal candidate will be somebody who has some experience in the commodity trading industry or a strong interest in starting a career within the commodity trading industry. Responsibilities
- Handle daily position and p&l and accounting reporting
- Reconcile position and p&l with brokers and clearing houses
- Manage hedge reconciliation with banks
- Support traders and front-office on p&l matters, including explanation on p&l movement
- Ad-hoc risk, accounting and p&l matters
- Bachelor\'s or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in any discipline
- Numerically strong, analytical mind
- Up to 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a similar role in a commodities trading house, or related experience with physicals/derivatives (fresh graduates are also welcome to apply)
- Must be comfortable working independently, as well as, part of a team
- Able to respond to the team\xe2\x80\x99s priorities and flexible in meeting individual deadlines under intense time pressure when necessary
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to synthesise accurately and present quantitative and qualitative information in an eloquent and concise manner
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Knowledge of VBA and programming languages would be advantageous
