JOB TITLE: Government Relations Officer
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Process all legal documents relating to visas, sponsorships, labour cards, residence permits, vehicle registration, licenses and other permits for submission to the appropriate authorities. Interface with government departments as required.
  • Update databases containing employees’ passports and other relevant immigration and residence related information. Log visa and other related information on HRMS system.
  • Process visas to other countries through the relevant embassies; ensure processing of documentation in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ensure Company legal licenses and other relevant documents are updated, valid and renewed when expired.
  • Keep abreast with relevant local laws and regulations that may affect Company staff, ensure any changes are reported to Administration Director.
  • Prepare monthly expense reports related to cost of processing ensuring the proper cost allocations to the appropriate cost centers. Analyze and generate visa related cost reports. Analyze and generate vehicle maintenance and service cost reports.
  • Monitor service requirements of Company vehicles; arrange Company vehicle maintenance when required.
  • Assist in issuance of driving license registrations for employees.
  • Ensure that all employees comply with Government Regulations.
  • Perform related duties as and when directed by Direct Supervisor

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma
  • At least 5-7 years’ experience in a relevant field.
