Governance, Quality Team Leader Grade: 5 Location: Taif, Saudi Arabia JOB PURPOSE BAE Systems is the UK Government's nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force aircraft and train RSAF personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons. An exciting opportunity exists to join the BAE Systems majority owned Joint Venture company 'Saudi Maintenance and Supply Chain Company' (SMSCMC) as Governance, Quality Team Leader. Within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), develop, 'own' and deliver plans for the SSS Phase 3 & 4 Supply Chain concerning Governance, Quality. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES The job is responsible to the SSS Phase 4 Supply Chain Delivery Manager for the ownership and delivery of Supply Chain governance, quality and is to operate within desired timescales and budgets. The Supply Chain Governance, Quality Team Leader will carry out the following tasks;

Develop and maintain Supply Chain governance through the implementation of policies and procedures in accordance with extant mandates and the logistics environment. Ensure that governance documentation is current and meets all external (BSI) and internal (SMSCMC SA) & (BAES SA) assessment criteria. Develop and maintain a Supply Chain Quality Policy and ensure that it meets all mandated Quality requirements. Conduct an internal Supply Chain Audit Programme to ensure adherence to both internal (SMSCMC SA) & (BAES SA) and external (BSI) requirements. Provide support to Supply Chain teams during both internal(SMSCMC SA) & (BAES SA) and external (BSI) audits. Manage to resolution any Non-Compliance Reports (NCRs) raised during both internal (SMSCMC SA) & (BAES SA) and external (BSI) audits. Investigate and implement where appropriate observations made during internal (BAES SA) audits. Provide support to any safety or quality investigations as required. Actively identify and promote Supply Chain continuous improvement initiatives ensuring implementation is captured within the relevant processes and procedures. Provide regular progress reports to both Supply Chain management and teams on compliance to governance, quality requirements. Where required provide support to governance, quality meetings (i.e. Safety Compliance and Assurance Review (SCAR), Safety Action Group (SAG), audit open / closure meetings). Deputise for other personnel as agreed by Supply Chain Management or other personnel as required. RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION

Supply Chain Governance, Quality experience in a Military environment (Essential). Understanding of RSAF/Military/BAESSA / SMSCMC Supply Chain procedures and Governance, Quality Process. (Essential). Awareness of Project Management principles and techniques (Desirable). Hold a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Assessor qualification (or similar) or otherwise be working towards said qualification. (Desirable).

The candidate must have Supply Chain experience in a customer-facing environment. The candidate must have worked with Saudi Nationals and be aware of cultural norms and sensitivities. Ideally must have worked with Saudi National RSAF or civilan personnel and be able to communicate effectively.
