Job Overview:
Emirates Talent Solution is seeking an experienced
GM Finance
with
10+ years of experience
in property development and real estate brokerage. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial strategy, ensuring financial stability, and optimizing profitability. This role requires expertise in financial planning, investment analysis, cash flow management, and compliance with UAE financial regulations. The
GM Finance
will play a key role in strategic decision-making and business expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis:
Develop and execute long-term financial strategies to support business growth and expansion.
Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and financial modeling for property development and brokerage operations.
Analyze financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations to senior management.
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, P&L statements, and cash flow reports.
Ensure compliance with
IFRS, VAT regulations, and UAE financial laws
.
Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring regulatory compliance and financial transparency.
Cash Flow & Investment Management:
Manage cash flow planning, ensuring adequate liquidity for property acquisitions, project financing, and business operations.
Develop investment strategies for capital allocation and asset management.
Maintain strong banking relationships and oversee loan structuring, financing, and treasury operations.
Cost Control & Risk Management:
Implement cost-saving strategies and financial controls to enhance operational efficiency.
Monitor and mitigate financial risks associated with real estate transactions and property development.
Develop risk management frameworks and ensure financial stability in market fluctuations.
Leadership & Team Development:
Lead the finance department, ensuring high performance and operational efficiency.
Mentor and develop finance and accounting teams, providing training on financial best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with business goals.
Taxation & Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with
UAE VAT, corporate tax laws, and real estate regulations
.
Manage financial audits and tax filings, liaising with external consultants and regulatory authorities.
Stay updated on financial regulations affecting real estate investments and property development.
Process Improvement & Financial Systems:
Optimize financial processes, policies, and systems for better efficiency and accuracy.
Implement and enhance
ERP and accounting software
for real-time financial management.
Ensure financial data integrity and security.
Key Requirements:
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Certifications:
CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA qualified or part-qualified, will be preferred. (Required).
Experience:
10+ years
in finance and accounting, with at least
5 years in a senior leadership role
within the
property development and real estate industry
.
Technical Skills:
Strong expertise in
financial modeling, forecasting, and real estate investment analysis
.
Proficiency in
accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems)
.
In-depth knowledge of
UAE tax laws, VAT regulations, and real estate financial compliance
.
Soft Skills:
Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple financial projects.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED12,500.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
