• Convey global air and ocean freight operations requirement into regional & country operations
• Develop, Improve and manage the global air ocean freight operations

• Global implementation of Process Requirements and alignment with Global Stakeholders
• Global Governance of Operational Standards and Compliance Metrics
• Development of Functional requirements for Transport Management Systems in Cooperation with Global Air and Ocean Freight, Corporate IT
• Provision of content towards Corporate Training Concept

TMS Change Management Initiative

• Conduct/Support of Change Management Initiative
• Organization of TMS deployment preparation and readiness in regional DP World Countries
• Support development of country specific CMI Master plan
• Provide guidance to regional decision making process on
• process and structure changes

• migration plan from status quo towards TMS compliant processes and structures
• Monitoring TMS deployment development within the region
• Conceptually organize training of country\'s deployment teams (change agents) regarding deployment guideline requirements

Operational Reporting, MDM & Fitness

Reporting

• Provision of Global operational Reports and Statistics

MDM

• Coordination and alignment of Air and Ocean Master Data Management activities with regional and country stakeholders
• Supports definition and enacts implementation of MDM Guidelines, policies and workflows
• Delivery of Global Air and Ocean Master Data content
• Ensures compliance with global Data Quality Requirements
• Provision of content towards Corporate Training Concept
• Supports development and enacts implementation of global productivity standards, benchmarks and metrics
• Supports development of analytics to enable process transparency
• Global Process Analysis and benchmarking
• Development of best practice solutions throughout region against global targets
• Identification, quantification and realization of cost saving potentials related to process optimization initiatives
• Documentation of requirements and solutions (including process flows, interfaces, system background, process narrative, TMS adjustment) and introduction throughout the Network
• Provision of conceptual support towards Corporate Audits
• Analysis, simulation and optimization of global operational structures based on tools like 6Sigma, Kaizen, Sycat
• Identification of demand and introduction of Change Management
• Supports Design and Development of global Quality Assurance Methods in Transport Management Systems
• Enacts Quality Assurance throughout the network
• Provision of content towards Corporate Training Concept

Air and Ocean EDI & Visibility

• Specification of Global requirements towards Carrier facing EDI
• Specification of Global Customer facing EDI Requirements towards Global Air and Ocean Freight
• Enacts global requirements on Carrier Portal usage
• Supports commercial success by actively supporting sales
• Definition of further technical enhancement features for new products
• Provision of content towards Corporate Training Concept

Legal

• Enacts SSL requirements
• Enacts global Insurance concept throughout the region
• Support Development of Global Security Standards
• Ensures compliance with Global Security Requirements
• Provision of content towards Corporate Training Concept

OTHER

• Responsible for the management and leadership of an engaged team, promoting collaboration and ensuring that each is developed and evaluated against goals and objectives which are aligned, specific, measurable, attainable yet challenging, realistic and time bound.

JOB CONTEXT:

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• 10 years of experience in a Logistics environment
• Deep understanding of ocean and air operations freight forwarding
• Experience in creating processes and working operating procedures.
• Solid grasp of project management, preference and Communication
• Experience in working in a matrix environment
• Experience in driving organizational change and successfully implementing process improvements across diverse teams and departments (including experience in M&A).
• Fluent in Business English (spoken and written)
• Sets clear goals and achieves results, develops solid relationships within the team, persuades and influences others, motivates people to perform, delegates and empowers others
• Ability to mentor and coach in a team environment; ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely
