Job Description

PURPOSE:

Execute spatial data conversion between GIS and engineering design data formats (CAD/BIM), ensuring seamless interoperability and data integrity across platforms. Identify geospatial data requirements, conduct inventory and thorough review of input GIS data and QA/QC of project GIS deliverables to meet project specifications.

ROLES & RESPOSIBILITIES

:

Manage online databases, proficiently creating, implementing, and integrating spatial databases using SQL to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval. Develop new GIS web mapping applications tailored for GIS staff use, enhancing accessibility and usability of spatial data within the organization. Possess experience working with EAMS and CRMS, adeptly integrating them with our solutions to streamline processes and enhance functionality. Execute spatial data conversion between GIS and engineering design data formats (CAD/BIM), ensuring seamless interoperability and data integrity across platforms. Identify geospatial data requirements, conducting inventory and thorough review of input GIS data and QC/QC of project GIS deliverables to meet project specifications. Analyze software and network requirements to assess design feasibility, ensuring optimal performance and compatibility. Apply mathematical and scientific approaches to create schemas and models for GIS program designs, ensuring robustness and accuracy in data representation and analysis. Proficiently master the coordinate system and projection conversion, ensuring accurate spatial data representation and alignment across various projects and data source. Utilizing ESRI products for tailored GIS solutions, aligning with company standards and the received GIS data. Versatile with open-source GIS tools like QGIS, ensuring adaptability to diverse software environments and data sources and manage databases. Analysis for optimizing drainage network, leveraging analytical skills to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making. Creating visually compelling and informative maps that effectively communicate spatial information relevant to company projects and objectives. Utilizing programming language for GIS automation, streamlining workflows and enhancing productivity through custom scripting and tool development. Carry out other tasks assigned.

Experience:

+10 (ten) years relevant experience

Competencies:

Knowledge of drainage asset base with a good understanding of the end-to-end process Updated knowledge in ESRI GIS Software Suite including web mapping Updated knowledge in Autodesk AutoCAD

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in related field, Technical Diploma, or similar experience

Others:

UPDA Certification for Engineering Degree holder/ to obtain this year

Language:

English (written and verbal communication)
