The role ensures accurate spatial data management, regular system updates, seamless integration with operational systems, and reliable GIS support for pipeline integrity, planning, and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain GIS systems for pipeline operations, ensuring timely updates, data accuracy, and escalation of system issues.
• Lead and supervise GIS-related projects, contributing to the design, enhancement, and optimization of GIS applications.
• Coordinate with network and operations teams to align GIS tools with operational and business needs.
• Work with vendors on change requests, system improvements, and application enhancements.
• Conduct regular data reviews and updates using ArcGIS and ArcPro software.
• Maintain geo-database design, naming conventions, structure, and security protocols.
• Ensure GIS information supports Pipeline Integrity Management Systems (PIMS) and other pipeline-related programs.
• Integrate GIS datasets with OSS and other enterprise systems to support strategic architecture.
• Provide input for GIS assessments, audits, and improvement initiatives.
• Generate spatial analysis outputs and reports to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor degree in GIS, Geosciences, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in GIS and CAD planning, development, and maintenance within industrial or infrastructure environments.
• Strong skills in geo-database design, governance, and GIS security protocols.
• Proficiency in ArcGIS, ArcPro, and spatial data processing.
• Familiarity with HSE procedures and safe working practices.
• Strong planning, organizing, scheduling, and coordination abilities.
