The candidate will be responsible for managing geological projects, conducting field investigations, interpreting geological data, and providing technical leadership. The role includes guiding junior staff, managing exploration or environmental programs, and ensuring accuracy and integrity of the geological data used for decision-making. This position requires strong technical expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Technical & Field Responsibilities
Conduct field investigations, geological studies, and data interpretation.
Process customers' orders and ensure all requirements are fulfilled in accordance with contract specifications, national/international standards, and approved internal methods.
Approve Soil Investigation reports and verify technical accuracy.
Ensure that laboratory results and geological/geotechnical log sheets are complete and delivered as per schedule.
Coordinate with the Site Supervisor and resolve any issues arising from field operations.
Prepare the Project Information Sheet and maintain accurate project documentation.
Quality & Compliance
Implement and maintain Quality Management System (QMS) procedures within the work area.
Review draft copies of soil investigation reports and finalize them for submission.
Ensure environmental monitoring (temperature & humidity control) records are maintained in accordance with test standards and equipment requirements.
Leadership & Coordination
Provide technical guidance to junior team members.
Support the management of exploration or environmental monitoring programs.
Communicate geological findings and project status to internal teams and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field.
Strong experience in soil investigation, geological reporting, and field supervision.
Excellent knowledge of national and international geological testing standards.
Ability to interpret logs, laboratory data, and geotechnical reports.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to join immediately is highly preferred.
