Their main responsibilities include consulting with clients to understand their needs, recommending hairstyles and treatments, and executing the chosen style. Hairstylists must have excellent communication and customer service skills, as they need to build rapport with their clients and provide a positive experience. They also need to have knowledge of different hair types and textures, as well as the latest trends and techniques in the industry. Some specific tasks that hairstylists may be responsible for include:
- Cutting and trimming hair using scissors, razors, and clippers
