We are looking for a dynamic and hands-on General Manager to oversee the execution of the Heart of Europe mega project in Dubai, The General Manager will work at the main contractor under The Kleindienst Group reporting directly to the company owner and be responsible for providing leadership, direction, and hands-on involvement in all aspects of project delivery across the 6 island projects within the icon The World Island\'s, 4km off the coast of Dubai. The Heart of Europe is an upscale and visionary island designed as a mixed use destination which will compromise of 15 luxury hotels and resorts, 4000 holiday homes and hotel units and a series of floating villas named Floating Seahorse.

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans and objectives in alignment with the company\'s vision and goals. Lead the overall project strategy, including resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.

Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of project delivery including planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and execution. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Team Management: Provide leadership and direction to a diverse workforce of over 1500 professionals across various divisions, including Civil, MEP, Fit-Out, Marine, Logistics, HSE, and more. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, addressing their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Financial Management: Manage the company\'s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Monitor project budgets, costs, and profitability, and take proactive measures to optimize financial outcomes.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and opportunities and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays, cost overruns, and other issues. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards.

Quality Assurance: Uphold the company\'s commitment to quality and excellence in all aspects of our work. Implement and maintain quality management systems and processes to ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

Bachelor\'s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field. Master\'s degree preferred.

Extensive experience managing a large contracting company and delivering complex projects, preferably in the construction industry. Island/Marine would be highly desirable.

Proven track record of successfully managing a diverse workforce of over 1500 people across multiple disciplines.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve project goals.

Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Thorough understanding of construction processes, methods, and best practices.

Familiarity with project management software and tools.

Knowledge of local regulations and market dynamics in Dubai and the UAE is highly desirable
