As part of Vignette Collection, IHG Hotels & Resorts' distinguished luxury brand, the five-star Ciel Dubai Marina stands as the world's tallest hotel, an 82-floor architectural masterpiece featuring 1,004 exquisitely designed rooms and suites, 11 world-class dining venues, a groundbreaking longevity spa, and the exclusive Nest Social VIP Lounge. Designed by award-winning architects, every detail reflects Vignette Collections ethos of authentic, experiential luxury, offering unparalleled service, exceptional culinary journeys, and breathtaking views across Dubai.
Responsibilities:
As the General Manager, you will be the visionary leader of this landmark property, ensuring it delivers unparalleled luxury while staying true to the Vignette Collection commitment to authentic, experiential, and considerate hospitality. * Leadership and Strategic Vision

• Provide inspiring, sophisticated leadership and setting luxury standards while embracing Vignette Collections unique identity.
• Develop financially astute strategies that elevate the hotels positioning within the luxury lifestyle segment, maximizing profitability while appealing to discerning travellers who seek exclusivity, innovation, and meaningful experiences.
• Foster a culture of passion, precision, and commercial awareness, empowering the team to deliver service that exceeds expectations.
• Operational Excellence

• Oversee all operations with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring seamless service across all products and services
• Maintain impeccable standards in cleanliness, safety, and sophistication, reflecting the hotels iconic status.
• Implement innovative, sustainable practices to optimise operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness in line with Vignette Collections commitment to people, places, and the planet.
• Curated Guest Experiences

• Champion a guest-centric culture, where every interaction is personalized, intuitive, and memorable.
• Leverage guest feedback to continuously refine and elevate offerings, ensuring Ciel Tower remains a benchmark in luxury hospitality.
• Introduce bespoke, exclusive experiences that align with the expectations of the targeted guest group.
• Commercial Growth & Financial Leadership

• Collaborate with the Commercial Team to maximize revenue across all revenue streams, while maintaining the propertys luxury positioning.
• Monitor financial performance with a strategic, profit-driven approach, optimizing costs without compromising quality.
• Identify high-value opportunities that attract and retain the targeted guest group, driving long-term profitability.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Brand Ambassadorship

• Build and cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including owners, investors, suppliers, and local authorities, to ensure alignment with both Vignette Collections vision and Ciel Towers strategic objectives.
• Serve as the face of Ciel Tower, engaging with high-profile guests, media, and industry leaders to enhance its prestige.
• Represent the hotel at elite events and partnerships, reinforcing its status as a global luxury icon.

Desired Skill & Expertise

• Bachelors degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field (Masters preferred).
• Extensive luxury hospitality experience, with experience in pre-opening and/or repositioning high-end hotels.
• General Manager experience in large-scale high-end properties.
• Exceptional commercial acumen, with expertise in revenue optimization and luxury guest engagement.
• Deep understanding of luxury trends, with a passion for innovation and experiential hospitality.
• Alignment with Vignette Collections values: authenticity, sustainability, and meaningful guest connections.
