Position: General Manager

Industry: Joinery / Woodwork / Interior Fit-Out

Experience Required: Minimum 8-10 years in joinery/furniture manufacturing with at least 3 years in a senior managerial role.

Job Summary:

The General Manager will be responsible for the overall management, strategy, and operations of the joinery factory. This includes overseeing production, quality control, project delivery, resource management, budgeting, and ensuring customer satisfaction while driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage daily factory operations including production, logistics, procurement, and maintenance.

- Lead and supervise production teams to meet deadlines and quality standards.

- Coordinate with project managers, designers, and clients to ensure smooth execution.

- Ensure optimal use of materials, equipment, and manpower.

- Set production targets and ensure efficiency and safety in operations.

- Implement and monitor quality control procedures.

- Develop and maintain budgets and cost control.

- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal standards.

- Plan for factory development, capacity expansion, and resource improvement.

- Recruit, train, and evaluate staff performance.

- Prepare regular reports for company leadership.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (preferred).

- Strong knowledge of joinery processes, machinery, and materials.

- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.

- Good understanding of UAE market and labor regulations.

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
