Position Overview:
We are seeking a
visionary and results-driven General Manager
to lead our
Facade and Aluminum
division. This senior leadership role requires a strategic thinker with robust technical expertise, strong business acumen, and a proven track record in project and people management. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth, overseeing project execution, optimizing operations, and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Business Development & Strategy
Develop and implement
strategic growth plans
to enhance market share and profitability.
Identify and secure
new business opportunities
in local and regional facade and aluminum markets.
Conduct
market research
to stay ahead of industry trends, competitor positioning, and client needs.
2.
Estimation & Cost Control
Oversee preparation of
accurate cost estimates
, including materials, labor, and installation.
Manage project budgets, ensuring
cost-efficiency
and alignment with company financial targets.
3.
Project Management
Lead facade and aluminum projects from
concept to completion
, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Oversee
cross-functional teams
including engineering, design, estimation, and project delivery.
4.
Operational Excellence
Implement
best practices
to optimize workflows, reduce operational bottlenecks, and enhance delivery efficiency.
Ensure
quality control
measures are strictly enforced across all phases of project execution.
5.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
Build and sustain long-term
client relationships
to drive customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Coordinate with
architects, consultants, main contractors
, and suppliers to ensure smooth project operations.
6.
Financial Oversight
Monitor
financial KPIs
, including project profitability, revenue growth, and cost compliance.
Identify and mitigate
financial and operational risks
proactively.
7.
Regulatory Compliance & Safety
Ensure full compliance with
local regulations, building codes
, and industry standards.
Promote and enforce a strong culture of
health, safety, and environmental (HSE)
practices on all sites.
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience:
15-20 years in the
facade and aluminum
industry, including a minimum of
5 years in senior leadership
roles.
Technical Expertise:
Deep knowledge of facade systems, aluminum fabrication & installation, estimation, and modern construction techniques.
Leadership & Management:
Proven ability to lead large, cross-functional teams and drive high-performance outcomes.
Communication:
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels.
Decision-Making & Problem-Solving:
Analytical thinker with a high attention to detail and solution-oriented mindset.
Software Skills:
Proficiency in
AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam
, and
project management software
(e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
