Position Overview:
We are seeking an accomplished and visionary
General Manager - Facade and Aluminum
to lead our facade and aluminum division. This executive-level role requires a strategic thinker with a solid technical background in facade systems, cost estimation, and project delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business expansion, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering high-quality facade solutions across commercial and residential projects.
Key Responsibilities:Business Development & Strategy
Strategic Planning:
Develop and execute growth strategies to increase market share and profitability in the facade and aluminum sector.
Client Acquisition:
Identify and secure new business opportunities through client outreach, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
Market Intelligence:
Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and potential markets to inform strategic direction.
Project & Cost Management
Estimation Oversight:
Supervise the preparation of detailed, competitive project estimates including labor, materials, and installation costs.
Budget Control:
Define and manage project budgets, ensuring profitability and alignment with financial targets.
Project Delivery:
Oversee the successful execution of projects from concept through completion, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery.
Team Leadership & Development
Department Leadership:
Direct multidisciplinary teams including designers, estimators, project engineers, and site managers.
Talent Development:
Mentor and develop staff, promoting a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Operational Efficiency
Process Optimization:
Implement systems and best practices to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and streamline operations.
Quality Control:
Ensure all projects meet company and client expectations regarding quality, durability, aesthetics, and compliance.
Client & Stakeholder Management
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Act as the central point of contact for technical discussions, contractual negotiations, and issue resolution.
Financial Management
Performance Monitoring:
Track financial KPIs, assess project profitability, and provide regular management reporting.
Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate project, contractual, and operational risks to protect company interests.
Compliance & Safety
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure strict adherence to local building codes, statutory regulations, and industry standards.
Health & Safety Leadership:
Promote a strong safety culture and enforce health and safety protocols across all sites.
Candidate Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field (required)
Master's degree or MBA (preferred)
Experience:
Minimum
8-10 years
of experience in facade and aluminum systems, with at least
5 years in a senior managerial role
Proven track record in

Technical Proficiency:
Strong command of facade systems (unitized, curtain wall, ACP, glass systems, cladding, etc.)
Proficient in
AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam
, or similar design/estimation tools
Familiarity with project management tools and ERP systems is a plus
